Dubai from the air: a guide to the helicopter tours
The Palm, the Burj Khalifa and the coastline as only a few ever see them. A short guide to the four scenic flights, what each one shows, and when to go.

Dubai was built to be seen from above — the fronds of the Palm, the curve of the coast, the Burj Khalifa standing over Downtown. Our scenic helicopter flights run daily and are sold by the seat, so you can take one without chartering the whole aircraft. Here's how to choose.
The four flights
| Tour | Time | You'll see | From |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Pearl | 12 min | Palm Jumeirah, Atlantis, Burj Al Arab | AED 716 / seat |
| Iconic Dubai | 17 min | Palm, Downtown, Burj Khalifa, The World | AED 981 / seat |
| City Circuit | 25 min | Creek, Sheikh Zayed Road, Marina | AED 1,451 / seat |
| Grand Tour | 45 min | Both Palms, Downtown, the desert edge | AED 2,405 / seat |
Which one to choose
First time? The Pearl or Iconic Dubai capture the postcard in twelve to seventeen minutes. Bringing a camera? City Circuit and the Grand Tour give you the long arcs and second passes that photographs love — the Grand Tour reaches both Palms and out to the edge of the desert.
When to fly
Flights run Monday to Sunday in two-hour windows from 10:00 to 17:00. Late afternoon gives you the softest light over the water; midday gives you the sharpest detail on the skyline. Your exact departure within the window is confirmed by the desk.
Good to know
- Sold by the seat — join a shared flight, up to six seats.
- Arrive about 30 minutes before for a short safety briefing.
- Bring photo ID; cameras are welcome.
